KIRK GILCHRIST
Owner / Director of Photography
I started Tight Line Films in 2013 with a GoPro. Now ten years later things are quite a bit different. After years of filming construction sites and fly fishing projects I took a job as DP/Editor at "BC Outdoors Sport Fishing TV" where I filmed and edited 3 seasons of the show. During that time I also developed / filmed and delivered another series for Cabelas called "Sossy's Outdoors"
In 2019 it was time for me to move on to further my creative needs and so I left the comfort and craziness of TV to strike out on my own again. Since then I have steered TLF through covid and into today where we are the first call for many clients and producers on projects whether they be corporate or narrative. I enjoy the days when I wake up knowing I'm on route to set the most.

Hi! I'm Johnny with over four years of hands on experience as a lead grip and lighting technician, I bring a wealth of practical knowledge and a keen eye for detail to every set.
My journey in the film industry is based has been driven by a relentless commitment to excellence and a deep love for storytelling through the lens. Whether behind the camera or ensuring the perfect lighting setup, I am dedicated to bringing creative visions to life.

Roscoe
Roscoe Peregrine Dillman is a Canadian,Korean, American camera operator. He studied at Queen's University focusing on film and advertising, getting a well rounded grasp for cinema.Growing up abroad helped sculpt his creativity and appreciation for different cultures and gained exposure to various artists.Roscoe started his endeavours in photography and quickly gravitated towards film. Joining the international cinematographers guild as a camera assistant furthering his technical knowledge of camera systems and working on large productions such as Riverdale, Percy Jackson and numerous others.

A dedicated and skilled location sound mixer and sound designer with six years of diverse experience in the entertainment industry. Andres brings a proven track record delivering high quality audio solutions for film, television, web series and streaming services. OUR LATEST RELEASE
"Novelette is Trying" is a ten part series created by Leo Award Winning director Giselle Miller of Orange Rose Films. Shot in Vancouver our crew was matched up with several other amazing people and teams. Over the course of two months of prep and 14 days of shooting we brought the 106 page series to life. Check it out on Amazon Prime.
NO FISH HARMED
Our series "No Fish Harmed" filmed for Swing The Fly, Michael & Young Flyshop, WaterMaster, and Lagartun will begin shooting early 2025 for season 2 after a hugely popular rookie season.

Short films
The short films that we have been hired for definitely get noticed. We were recently nominated for best cinematography at the 2022 Vancouver BadAss film festival. Tight Line Films provided the camera department for 7 indie features slated for release in 2023. Our short film "The Garbage Collector" was also chosen for screening for the 2023 Badass festival.

One of our latest short horror films "Metamorphose" was recently featured in Movie Maker Magazine.

Tight Line Films also understands the issues camera crews from other countries face at the border, the dreaded "CARNET" so send your crew and let us provide the gear.
